The Demonic Influence on Women Today
In the late ’60s, a small group of elite American women convinced an overwhelming majority of the country that destroying the most fundamental of relationships—that of mother and child—was necessary for women to have productive and happy lives.
From the spoiling of this relationship followed the decay of the entire family, and almost overnight, our once pro-life culture became pro-lifestyle, embracing everything that felt good. Sixty million abortions later, women aren’t showing signs of health, happiness, and fulfillment. Increased numbers of divorce, depression, anxiety, sexually transmitted disease, and drug abuse all point to the reality that women aren’t happier, just more medicated.
Huge cultural shifts led to a rethinking of womanhood, but could there be more behind it than just culture, politics, and rhetoric?
Building off the scriptural foundations of the anti-Christ, Carrie Gress makes an in-depth investigation into the idea of an anti-Mary—as a spirit, not an individual—that has plagued the West since the ’60s. Misleading generations of women, this anti-Marian spirit has led to the toxic femininity that has destroyed the lives of countless men, women, and children.
Also in The Anti-Mary Exposed:
How radical feminism is connected to the errors of Russia, spoken of by Our Lady of Fatima. The involvement and influence of the goddess movement and the occult.
The influence of “female” demons, such as Lilith and Jezebel.
The repulsive underbelly of radical feminism’s chief architects.
A look at the matriarchy, a cabal of elite women committed to abortion, who control the thinking of most women through media, politics, Hollywood, fashion, and universities.
The antidote to the anti-Mary is, of course, Mary, the Mother of God, known widely as the most powerful woman in the world and the source of the belief that women ought to be treated with dignity. She is a beacon of all the virtues and qualities—purity, humility, kindness, beauty—that oppose this sinister force that has cast its spell upon so many women. Mary’s influence is unparalleled by any woman in history. She is the perfect model of Christian femininity, who desires to be a spiritual mother to us all, leading us to her Son, and to the fulfillment of our heart’s deepest desires.

“The Demonic Influence on Women Today”
Beyond hilarious.

Sixty million abortions since 1973?! That is truly messed up.

I am finding it increasingly fascinating how now that Protestantism is holed below the water line, they are beginning to realise that the only true Church is the Church of Rome.

Ah yes, the days before the ’60s. When women knew how to hide the bruises, rape in marriage wasn’t even a concept and man’s word was law.
Those wishing for those days are actually longing for the power to treat women as their slaves.

I agree with cylonsarecuddly. This longing for the “good old days” is misguided and ignorant.

Er, not that the good old days were ever really a thing, but thank God spousal abuse, rape, and spousal murder no longer exist, now that we’ve reached the shores of Utopia.
All of these areas have experienced statistical increases over the decades; domestic violence has a higher rate of repeat victimisation than any other type of crime.
The usual proviso applies: the known stats are the visible, surface manifestation of a largely clandestine phenomenon.
The law as a responsive instrument is notoriously blunt, and naturally becomes involved after an injurious dynamic is firmly established.
Of course, with the appearance of the internet and “social” media, stalking and abusive victimisation are facilitated, and have also experienced exponential increase.
Treating all human life with reverence would be a good start, folks.

What sane man would want to be with a Fema-Nazi??
It’s not about equality, it’s about control. Marriages are down, relationships brief, divorce sky high, and trust b/w the sexes is nearly non-existent. What the Fema-Nazis really want is one sided equality.
Why aren’t women required to resister for the draft? Why do they need affirmative action (Govt sanctioned discrimination against white males) for college when they make up 65% of all college entry? The list goes on and on.
An excellent book by a brave woman.

@apollo60

If you spend all of your time commenting on every single book uploaded here, I don’t think you’ll ever find time to read any, buddy.

You’re right! We’ll have to divide it betw us; you do the teenage vampire/romance stuff, and I’ll do the politics/history.

I suspect that many of the negative comments are from people who haven’t listened to this book.
It has absolutely nothing to do with tolerating domestic abuse or treating women as slaves! Where would they get that idea?
For those of us who believe in a spiritual realm, this book makes some solid points. If you don’t believe in a spiritual realm it probably sounds like a lot of gibberish, which is fair.
IMO you don’t even have to be Catholic to appreciate its hypothesis. I’m a Buddhist/Christian mystic/”miscellaneous” when it comes to spirituality, not a trad cath.
I’m very impressed with this author’s observations about the demonic realm.
This book is not at all about oppressing women in any way.
If anything I felt that the book empowers women to defend ourselves against spiritual and social forces (such as consumerism, beauty perfectionism, pornography, the rhetoric of abortion “rights,” denial of sexual trauma, etc) which conspire to tear down our willpower, weaken our minds and hearden our hearts.
Personally I just ignored the trad cath, “faithful to the Magisterium” stuff.

One more thing! :)
For a completely non-religious, liberal feminist book about the types of cultural trends which support Carrie Gress’ hypothesis, I recommend “Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture” by Ariel Levy.
It has nothing to do with religion or “traditional femininity” at all. The author is very liberal, pro-abortion, etc etc. She illustrates many examples of woman-abuse, woman-hate, and woman-destruction in modern consumer culture, and how women are encouraged to conspire with the misogyny without realizing it. It’s from 2005.
