The Safed and Alexandrian Essene Scrolls agree in respect to the fact that Jesus never died on the cross, but was taken down, unconscious, and later revived by his Essene brethren who, in the middle of the night, carried him from the tomb where he was laid, thus creating the false impression among those who came later to see him, but found him gone, that he had risen from the dead and was resurrected.
Together with his faithful companion, Mary Magdalene, disguised as an elderly couple, they then fled to India, where they devoted themselves to the study of Eastern wisdom. Later, they traveled as far as Japan, where they died, a memorial erected in their honor.

This sounds like a variation of Christopher Moore’s “Lamb,” which is hilarious.
It might also be worth noting that this writer also claims that UFOs come from a super-race of beings who live in the centre of a hollow Earth, accessed via the north pole. Hmm. I can’t imagine why, but I’m rather sceptical about his claims.

How can you not believe this, old books say it’s true. You can’t dismiss this stuff just because you never heard of the source material and almost every other translator says they say something completely different. This guy has a Ph.D. in something or other, so he must know!

I think the point being overlooked here is one that is crucial if one is to gain benefit from any information based on highly unprovable outlying factors. The instant you discredit any author or anyone offering you their personal take on a set of personal truths because the outlying “facts” don’t line up with your perception of what the truth is, you close yourself off from the real treasure laid at your feet, which is the opportunity to share in the author’s experiential process which led them to the composition of their work. No matter how unfounded and unrealistic what they claim might seem, the present moment is the only one that exists so it’s no more or less unrealistic than that of the subjective truth inherent to each and every individual on the planet. So take every subjective truth, including your own, as a grain and realize that the very facts that account for your version of the truth are all subject to public repudiation at a moments notice given the frailty and volatility of the human core condition in the current model of modern society. Accolades, pomp, and circumstance aside the opportunity to step outside of your own little box of beliefs even if only for the span of a few hundred pages is the greatest gift any author can offer their audience. The further from that box it takes you, the greater the gift. So don’t allow your own limiting belief system to be the determining factor in how far you’ll allow your empathy and love for humanity to reach. Let go of endoctrinated thought patterns and you’ll find that love can take you all the way to the limits of what you think is possible, well into the unknowns of what people might call “miraculous”, “mystic”, and even at times “impossible”.
