The Destruction of Black Civilization took Chancellor Williams 16 years of research and field study to compile. The book, which was to serve as a reinterpretation of the history of the African race, was intended to be “a general rebellion against the subtle message from even the most ‘liberal’ white authors (and their Negro disciples): ‘You belong to a race of nobodies. You have no worthwhile history to point to with pride.’” The book was written at a time when many black students, educators, and scholars were starting to piece together the connection between the way their history was taught and the way they were perceived by others and by themselves. They began to question assumptions made about their history and took it upon themselves to create a new body of historical research. The book is premised on the question: If the Blacks were among the very first builders of civilization and their land the birthplace of civilization, what has happened to them that has left them since then, at the bottom of world society, precisely what happened? The Caucasian answer is simple and well known: The Blacks have always been at the bottom.”
Williams instead contends that many elements - nature, imperialism, and stolen legacies - have aided in the destruction of the black civilization. The Destruction of Black Civilization is revelatory and revolutionary because it offers a new approach to the research, teaching, and study of African history by shifting the main focus from the history of Arabs and Europeans in Africa to the Africans themselves, offering instead “a history of blacks that is a history of blacks. Because only from history can we learn what our strengths were and, especially, in what particular aspect we are weak and vulnerable. Our history can then become at once the foundation and guiding light for united efforts in seriously] planning what we should be about now.”

Don’t be obtuse. Modern humans lived in central Africa for over 300,000 years…immense numbers of city state clusters of ~10,000 to ~30,000 people rose and fell over that timeline.

The height of black civilization was B.C… All things have a beginning and an end, that’s evolution baby… The liberal white man has delayed that evolutionary demise, one way or another… Imagine if the bleeding heart singers, the ‘feed the world’ crew back in the 80s, hadn’t, imagine no world vision feeding one generation, wouldn’t have had to feed the next five generations that followed… They weren’t going up the ladder, they’d already had that time in the sun, they were on the descent and white liberal guilt turned them around… The Brits only finished paying the debt they occured freeing the slave population a decade or two ago… I figure the black civilization want free stuff but aren’t willing to work hard like a white man to get it, and they believe the white man owes them everything they desire… White liberal guilt went against Darwin’s teachings and we reap what they sowed…

The ancient non modern African core DNA of the so called “neanderthals” were out of Africa for more then 700,000 years, yet no super culture arose. The may have had an aversion to super clustering.
Yet we with ~92% and more of modern African core DNA spontaneously produce super cultures i.e “civilizations” at a certain population threshold.
super cultures seems to be a much more apt descriptor.

Does anyone know if Chancellor Williams is related to the Walter Williams of historical revisionist fame? (Not to be confused with the libertarian, Walter E. Williams.)
Why is it that this book sounds so much like the complaints of the Nazis? Hitler’s goal was to revive the lost Germanic culture. he blamed the Jews and Catholics for destroying their ancient culture.
